Evangelist, Psalmist, Author

In a time when musical originality in vocalists has given way to constant duplication, Jannise Jackson has come up with a unique style of her own. It was at the tender age of two years old that her love and admiration for gospel music developed while singing in her local church choir. Even then it was evident that this voice was a pure gift from God predestined to touch lives and penetrate hearts. Her musical gifts were expressed during childhood performing throughout area ministries. She is a sister, aunt, friend but most of all a believer in Christ. When asked what her musical goal is she replied "I want people to feel the love for one another. I want to see more young people seeking God and not just going after a feeling or a beat but after the beat is over, having a real relationship with God. It’s not just enough to sing to people; but they must feel what we are singing about, [until] they are moved by the power of the Holy Spirit. That’s most important in doing what I’m doing – as the song says, ‘if I can help somebody as I travel along, then my living shall not be in vain.’ That’s my goal in ministry.”

Jannise has shared the stage with many pioneers in the gospel music industry such as Pastor Shirley Caesar, Donnie McClurkin, Marvin Sapp, Dr. Juanita Bynum, Leanne Faine & Favor, Dorinda Clark Cole, Yolanda Adams, Kirk Franklin and Dr. Joyce Garrett to name a few.

Jannise hopes to continue the building of the ministry that God has entrusted her hand to do.
